Learning to animate should be fun! 

I'm Susu, I’m a 2D hand-drawn animator 

I’ve been animating since 2018, after falling in love with Gobelin’s student film on YouTube. That moment made me realize animation could be powerful, emotional, and not just for kids. Now I’ve assisted on two Gobelins shorts commissioned for Annecy Festival 2025: Fall Is Again and Tihany’s Echo, and I’m lucky to have a lovely community of 42K+ followers on Instagram.

My work focuses on storytelling, color, and movement, always aiming for something adorable, joyful, and full of life. I’ve taught private art classes in drawing basics and art history, and my teaching style is all about building confidence through simple, step-by-step learning. 

I believe animation is like stairs, you can’t skip straight to the top without getting frustrated. So I start with the easy stuff, and build up gradually.

And that’s the approach I use to teach in this course.
